Ross Woodward – a former BBC/ABC journalist with an insatiable love of music presents CASEY RADIO’s “Let there be music” every Wednesday at 7pm.

Ross has met many incredible music legends including genius Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys, Iva Davies of Icehouse, Colin Hay of Men at work and the incredible Don Walker of Cold Chisel.

“Let there be music” is designed to showcase remarkable songs you know – and artists you are going to want to know more about.

Ross Woodward said “The show is culled from my huge music collection. It’s all about inspiring people to delve deeper into unbelievable artists.  There’s so much good stuff out there!  It’s a thrill to be part of a station that puts the community first.  Casey radio really is a remarkable station”.

Amongst Ross’s favourites (and it’s an endless list!) are the Buggles, Mavis Staples, Queen, ELO, Prefab Sprout, Jimmy Webb, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Genesis, Miles Davis and Kylie Minogue.

He loves to mix it up.  The show always features a “Spotify Sensation” and “An Aussie Classic”.

Ross doesn’t just love CD’s … he adores vinyl too!

Hear “Let there be music” exclusively on Casey Radio every Wednesday at 7pm.
