I have been an avid community radio listener for 30 years and presenter for the past 20 years. Community radio has provided me with an opportunity to share my passion for music. I grew up in a household where music was an integral part of our daily lives. My Dad had an extensive and varied record collection and nurtured that passion. Many a night was spent around the record player with me and my siblings driving Dad crazy with repeated requests for our favourites. I attended my first gig at 12 years of age, a practice that continues to this day. I believe music enriches our lives and is a great healer.
