Corinne and Ian King have celebrated their 400th show on Casey Radio and they look forward to their next 400.
Corinne & Ian have enjoyed presenting their radio program on 97.7 “The Sound of the South East” for just on 10 years. Their program is “THE KING AND I” on Friday evenings from 8 pm to 10 pm which they present as a “live” program. They have celebrated over 400 shows and they are certainly very proud of their achievement in radio. Of course, the Covid Lockdowns were harsh years, but Corinne & Ian pre-recorded their programs during that time and these have not been included in this estimate. What they are proud to speak about are their “LIVE” programs.
The couple are certainly eager to keep looking ahead at presenting more radio programs in their future years, if health permits.

Corinne & Ian have been a well-travelled couple and are now enjoying their many cruises they have tagged on to their other exploratory tours they have taken in the past two years. They still have a few “bucket list” trips on their agenda to cover before overseas travel becomes more demanding.
“THE KING AND I” Program brings to their listeners interesting “Snippets, Current Segments, Health Facts, Interesting Anecdotes, Freaky & Wacky facts, and heaps of varied informative material for the Community. This makes their program one of variety and interest to their listening audience.
Ian enjoys his compilation of selecting “Music with a variety of Local Vocals & Musicians” on his playlist, and he is compassionate about promoting his very special corner of “Locals Vocals” on air, which he does during the first hour of the program. In the 2nd hour anything goes from Rock, Jazz, Ballads, Instrumentals, and music of international recognition.
Corinne is also a “Published Author” having contributed to 3 Anthologies that were “sell out” sales in October 2019 with Anthology I, followed by “Anthology II” in December 2021, which proved to be yet another “sell out.” Corinne is very proud to announce here that “Anthology III” has just been published in April 2025 and it will be available on AMAZON for the public to purchase.
The “Anthologies” are a “Collection of Short Stories and Poems” published by “The Writers of Balla Balla.”
Corinne has mentioned, “That many of the contributors to the 3 Volumes were Writers who have achieved an immense thrill with their writing prowess skills. Corinne has achieved a personal ‘milestone’ in her writing skills as an “Author.”
As a writer, Corinne’s work is deeply influenced by her rich cultural background, global travels, and personal experiences. She has also been a long-time member of the Scribe Tribe and her contribution to the Scribe Tribe Group has been useful as she has brought warmth, insight, and a deep connection to history and community to her storytelling. Corinne tends to never be lost for words and this has been another factor of her success in the radio culture.
Corinne has also been involved with her Church Group and a few months ago was the “guest speaker” at a monthly event called “Women of Worth,” where she spoke to an eager group of ladies about her “faith & positivity” regarding her health issues she has endured as well over the past 50 years.
