New research from the University of Queensland found out larvae are considered superworms .They are capable of eating polystyrene. Polystyrene is a plastic used widely to pack electronics and protect parcels. Sadly it is non-recyclable. Superworms might help to combat plastic waste. More research is needed to understand this process.
