Regions and renewables might help to energy crisis: report

The energy crisis has reached a tipping point, warning five states to save energy to avoid blackouts. Australia's Energy Market Operator has suspended the spot market for wholesale electricity to maintain supply. A new report by The Australia Institute found out if the Federal and State governments plan into renewable energies and allow regional areas being hubs for energy zones. The report also shows energy ministers will need to increase the benefits to regional communities that host large-scale solar, wind and transmission infrastructure to support renewable energies.
