Internationally acclaimed Affinity Quartet brings their exceptional musicianship to the David Li Sound Gallery for an evening of powerful chamber music. Recognised as one of Australia’s most exciting ensembles, the quartet has performed at major festivals including Germany’s Rheingau Musik Festival and Finland’s Kuhmo Chamber Music Festival, and recently represented Australia at Expo 2025 in Osaka. Praised for their captivating and flawless ensemble playing, they will perform string quartets by Shostakovich and Beethoven alongside a new work composed especially for the ensemble by award winning Australian composer Alice Chance. This multi-award winning Affinity Quartet will perform as part of MPAC’s Sound Gallery Series.
