Margaret Hendrie
Marg Hendrie is a recent addition to Casey Radio’s list of presenters.
Marg grew up during the post 2nd world war jazz era and has spent most of her life enjoying the rhythmic beat of this genre of music. In her much earlier days Marg spent lots of time on the dance floor.

Coming from a musical background – albeit classical – Marg grew up during the post 2nd world war jazz era, and has spent most of her life enjoying the rhythmic beat of this genre of music, and in earlier days spending lots of time on the dance floor.
Since being involved with the Victorian Jazz Club at Committee level for the past 17 years, she has soaked up lots of band, musician and jazz knowledge which now stands her in great stead to put together well structured programs for the listeners.
Marg has four children, 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grand children, and spends her leisure time attending jazz gigs and playing scrabble.
Being a Life Member of the VJC she only travels to Clayton occasionally these days, but has filled that gap in her life by being elected to the Presidency of the Carrum Downs Retirement Village Social Club where she is encouraging the residents to listen to music – particularly jazz!!
