Ross Woodward
Ross is a former BBC and ABC journalist and has had a long and successful career in media!
CASEY radio has now launched a special show for anyone who loves music.
Whether you love Vika and Linda, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Aztec Camera, Nick Cave, the Black Sorrows, Pink Floyd, the Hollies or Flume you cannot afford to miss this great new show.
LET THERE BE MUSIC is on every Wednesday for 2 hours from 7pm and is fronted by Ross Woodward – a former BBC and ABC journalist with a massive passion for all things music.
Ross has been to hundreds of live gigs over the years and loves pretty much all types of music. He’s met the incredible Don Walker of Cold Chisel, Iva Davies of Icehouse and Colin Hay of Men at Work.
Ross adores the harmonies of the Beach Boys and was amazed when he got the opportunity to briefly meet the man behind Good Vibrations, the incredible Brian Wilson … along with Beach Boy Al Jardine.
Ross said “It’s a thrill to be part of a station that has such a strong community feel to it. It’s a delight to be on air sharing artists …the idea of the show is to play songs people know – and some artists that may be new to you. Music is truly the spice of life.”
“The team at Casey Radio – Nia, Leigh and Bill – have been very supportive. I’ll be trying each week to amaze listeners with incredible tracks.”
LET THERE BE MUSIC is on the mighty CASEY RADIO 97.7 FM every Wednesday at 7pm
